A few times a year, we like to profile one of our members – say hello to Anisha Dhala!!

Tell us about yourself.

I have over 15 years experience leading and supporting organizations with changes. I’ve worked with many organizations in both the private and public sector that have undergone strategic transformations involving business process, technology, organizational and cultural changes.

Why did you decide to join ACMP Vancouver?

I wanted to leverage the opportunity to meet other change professionals and to hear about their learnings and experiences. There’s always an opportunity to learn from each other and to grow as a change professional; I’ve always walked away with nuggets of information that I can apply towards my projects .

What are you working on currently?

I am currently on contract with UBC as part of the IRP (Integrated Renewal Program), which involves implementing Workday™ across UBCs HR and Finance functions.

Any change management books / resources to recommend or share?

I listen to this podcast by the Change Management Review and there’s some interesting episodes on there that can apply to anybody – not just change professionals.

How do you like to spend your time outside of work?

I do a bit of volunteer work within my community. The Board that I am volunteering on conducts audits of other programs and activities within the community to ensure they’re following best practices.  I also love to bake – it’s like therapy for me.
