MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT – JULIE MAKRANYI (2026)

President – Julie Makranyi

Welcome to the ACMP Greater Vancouver Chapter!

I’m honoured to serve as President and excited for the opportunities ahead to strengthen our community and elevate the practice of change management across our region.

Our chapter continues to thrive because of the dedication of our members, volunteers, and leaders who contribute their time, expertise, and passion. This year, we welcomed new Board members, thanked those completing their terms, and appreciate the seasoned Board members who continue to provide stability, mentorship, and momentum for the work ahead.

A core pillar of our Chapter is the belief that we grow stronger together. Our Mentorship Program is an essential part of that commitment—connecting new and emerging practitioners with experienced change leaders who are eager to share their knowledge, insights, and lived experience. Whether you are looking to learn, give back, or both, mentorship is a powerful way to build capability, deepen relationships, and strengthen our community of practice.

I encourage all members to participate: become a mentor, join as a mentee, or support others through your professional networks and workplace relationships. Every act of guidance and support helps shape the next generation of change practitioners. Be proud of the role you play in this community and the legacy you are helping to build.

Whether you’re an experienced practitioner or just beginning your change journey, our chapter is here to support your growth, spark connection, and inspire meaningful impact. I invite you to get involved—attend an event, share your insights, and connect with fellow change professionals.
